This is one of the most important roles in the election. People arrive at the polls sometimes not knowing who is on the ballot.  Poll Greeters help them find the Democratic Candidates by directing them to the online 2026 Voter Guide.

We also help them to find their individual sample ballot at VotePalmBeach.gov

People can avoid long lines by booking an appointment here.  

Pick your shift 7-10, 10-1, 1-4, and 4-7.  Bring your own chair, weather protection, and snacks. Bring slate cards and a clip board and paper to collect the name, email and telephone number of people who want to volunteer for the Democratic Party. People can join our mailing list at PBCDemocraticParty.org

All "Poll Greeters"  are asked to take the optional "Poll Watcher" Training from the Florida Democratic Party. 

In the unlikely event that a "Poll Greeter" witnesses unusual activity, the one-hour Poll Watcher Training Certification will allow you to act as a "Poll Watcher" to speak with the Clerk inside the polling location.
